“I work conceptually through projects and multiples, with diverse mediums, to trace existence, one step, one glance, one atmospheric shift; at a time.”

Amy Jordan has spent much of her adult life in Western North Carolina before moving back to her native city of Winston Salem, NC. She has worked in various leadership roles within the arts community, including Executive Director of Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Collaboration and curation are important threads throughout her career. Some of the organizations she has worked in collaboration/curation with are Reynolda House Museum of American Art, North Carolina Museum of Art WS, Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Mixxer, and Grace Center Gallery.

Jordan created Artists on Art, a public conversational series exploring the uncharted shifts behind the lives of artists and curators.
